How it works
A magnetic filter system acts like a barrier to stop contaminants from getting into your heating system in the first place.
It’s best installed when your boiler is new so you start from a fresh page, but can be retrofitted, attracting sludge before it has a chance to creep into your boiler.
If you decide to install a magnetic filter system when getting a new boiler, make sure you purchase it from the same manufacturer as your boiler as they will usually extend your warranty for doing so (that’s how effective these filters are!).
Once your magnetic filter is installed, we’ll take it out, clean it and put it back in place as part of your annual boiler service.
